Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This explains what information 마그리띠 (magritti) collects through www.magritti.com, what it is used for and what you can do about it. The studio is the data controller.

What is collected and why

The contact form asks for your name, your email address and whatever you write in the message. No other details are requested. The newsletter form asks for your email address only. Where products are sold, orders run through Shopify, which collects the name, delivery address, email address and payment details needed to fulfil them. Card details are handled by Shopify's payment processors and are not seen or stored by the studio.

No analytics or advertising tools are used on this site. No tracking cookies are set and no record of your browsing is built. The host processes technical information such as your IP address as a necessary part of serving the pages to you.

Information is used to reply to enquiries, to send the newsletter where you have asked for it, and to process and deliver orders. It is not used for any other purpose. The lawful basis is legitimate interest for replying to enquiries, consent for the newsletter and performance of a contract for orders.

Who it is shared with

Your information is never sold or rented. It is passed only to the services needed to run the site and fulfil orders:

  • Framer, which hosts this site and passes on contact form submissions

  • Apple iCloud, which hosts the studio email account where enquiries arrive

  • Shopify and its payment processors, where products are sold

  • Delivery carriers, where an order is shipped

Each of these handles information on the studio's behalf and under its own terms.

Cookies, retention and security

This site sets only the cookies it needs in order to work. No analytics, advertising or profiling cookies are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then not work properly.

Enquiries are kept for as long as the correspondence and any work arising from it require. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept for the period tax and commercial law require. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect the information held, though no transmission over the internet is entirely secure and absolute security cannot be promised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to withdraw consent to marketing, to ask for it in portable form, or to object to it being processed. You may also complain to a supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office, and in the Republic of Korea the Personal Information Protection Commission. To exercise any of these, write to contact@magritti.com.

The studio is registered in the Republic of Korea and its founder works from London, so information may be processed in either country and by providers operating elsewhere. Transfers outside your country of residence are covered by the terms of the provider handling them.

This site is not aimed at children under 16 and the studio does not knowingly collect information from them.
